Golden, Colorado

Wow, Golden, Colorado is beautiful. And we didn't even make it to the Coors factory. We woke up this morning at Clear Creek RV park, with overnight temperatures around 60 degrees F, and I went on a run along Clear Creek, then up Chimney Gulch Trail, which has beautiful views of the whole town of Golden.

With some college friends we went to The Splash at Fossil Trace, a small water park near the RV park, and the kids had a blast on the slides and on the water jungle gym, then it was lunch at Colorado + 49 Cidery and Pub.

Tonight we met some more friends at Woody's Wood Fired Pizza, and it was fantastic. It was a buffet, which is always an invitation to overeat (invitation accepted!) They even had bottomless flavored lemonade, so I tried the mango, watermelon, peach, and raspberry. Good times.
